Enrolment

  • Enrolment procedure for degree-seeking students from abroad

    Read more here.

  • For Belgian students: your very first enrolment comprises two phases:

step 1. Pre-enrolment

Do you not have a Flemish diploma of secondary education or do you think you do not comply with the admission requirements, you can find more information here. Students who follow these application instructions do not have to pre-register online. Once you are admitted you will receive a letter of admission which will allow to register on campus (see step 2). For more advice you can always contact your study counsellor.

Students with a diploma of secondary education of the Flemish community have to pre-enrol online from the comfort of your home. You can also fill out this online form on the computers that are available in the student administration office when finally enrolling. This enrolment does not entail an obligation nor is it a final enrolment. This pre-enrolment does not imply a definitive commitment, either on behalf of the University of Leuven or yourself. However, the pre-enrolment is obligatory to register on campus.

step 2. Complete your enrolment

Campus Sint-Lucas Brussels

You can complete your enrolment as of 16 August 2017.

Registration will take place at campus Sint-Lucas Brussel, Paleizenstraat 65-67, 1030 Brussels.

Re-enrolment: as of your second consecutive year

You do not need to come to the university for a re-enrolment. You will receive an e-mail inviting you to complete your re-enrolment online.

Attention: if you have a tolerable number of unsatisfactory marks, you will have to save these tolerated marks before being able to re-enrol (only in Bachelor's programmes).

Your re-enrolment can be found in the menu of your KU Loket. After your re-enrolment you will receive all the necessary documents at home by post.

ATTENTION
  • Be sure to re-enrol before the 3rd Wednesday of the academic year
The online application closes on the third Wednesday of the academic year meaning you will no longer be able to enrol unless you are enrolling for courses taught during the second semester or for enrolments for which no specific time restrictions apply.
